CB Allahabad: Sports Academy

Cricket and Boxing academy have been established in the schoo1. The setting up of sports academy in Cantonment Board Schools are playing active role in sports promotion. It is inculcating the spirit of competitiveness among students. Professional training of various sports such as Football & taekwondo is also given to the school children. Competitions are also organized to foster physical fitness,teamwork, accountability and winning culture among the students.
To provide healthy sports environment to the student’s one advanced AI based automatic bowl throwing machine as used by National Cricket Academy has been procured for cricket academy by the Board. Practice Nets and Portable Pitches are instailed to provide best training facilities to the students.

Impact —

1. The sports academy helps the individual to explore its ability in various sports activities other than academic.
2. Cricket Academy has more than 80 students enrolled.
3. Cantonment Boxing Academy has won Dr. Deenanath Tiwari Boring Championship in Prayagraj. 10 students participated and won the O3 Gold, 04 Silver & 02 Bronze medals.
4. Cantonment Boring Academy has won Sub Junior Championship at Gurukul Montessori School, Prayagraj . 05 students participated and won the 02 Gold, 02 Silver & O1 Bronze medals.
5. Cantt Board School student Nandirii Kumari participated in Uttar Pradesh State level Boxing championship & won silver medal and qualified for Nationals.
6. Cantt Board School students participated in District level Football Championship under Prayagraj district team and won silver medal.
