Procurement / Establishment of Advanced Medical Infrastructure / Equipment through CSR Funding

Pune Cantonment Board is facing severe financial crisis after implementation of GST regime. This has led to restriction of procurement / establishment of advanced Medical Infrastructure / Equipment. However with dedicated efforts of the CEO, RMO and other Hospital Staff, Pune Cantonment Board has been able to get CSR Funding almost to the tune off Rs.10 Cr. for establishing advanced Medical Department such as Dialysis, Modular Operation Theater, NICU, Post Op. HDU, Building for New Maternity Ward and advanced medical equipment such as Laparoscopy Unit, Dental Chair, Orthoscopic Instruments, Uro Surgical Instruments, C-Arm System, Cardiac Ambulance, Ventilators, etc. Because of all this funding Hospital has been able to upgrade itself to Speciality & Critical Care Hospital from General Hospital.

Impact Assessment: In spite of financial constraint Hospital have been able to upgrade it services thereby benefiting the poor citizens visiting this Hospital. Number of admissions, surgeries, critical care treatment, dialysis, super speciality surgeries has increased many folds.
