Obituary of Shri R P Sehgal, Former DGDE

Director General Defence Estates, all IDES Officers and staff of Defence Estates Organization condole the sad demise of Shri R P Sehgal, Former DGDE on 06th May, 2025. Shri Sehgal joined the IDES in 1962 and after discharging untiring, sincere and dedicated service for 38 years, he retired as Director General in 2000 on attaining the age of superannuation. During his illustrious service career, he has handled many important portfolios. His stupendous contribution towards service of Government of India in various capacities has left indelible mark. His demise is a loss not only to his family and friends but also to the IDES fraternity.
